What we learned from the recent fires in Los Angeles

  1. City water CAN'T be relied on during a wildfire

  2. Fire crews may not be able to reach your home in time

  3. Insurance won’t cover everything—if it covers anything

  4. Clean-up costs after a fire can run $100,000 to $250,000—and they’re due immediately

  5. Your property value can drop by 50% or more if your home is lost

  6. You still have to pay your mortgage—even if the house is gone

  7. You’ll need replacement housing, new clothes and necessities right away—on top of your current debt.

  8. The combined cost financially devastates people.

  • Missing payments can destroy your credit, making it nearly impossible to buy or rent again

  • Government aid is minimal and slow—if it shows up at all

In order for us to survive this and avoid losing our homes, we must band together. Purchase independent fire defense systems, either by yourself or link up with your community.

Together we can protect our homes and our communities. We will do this by providing wildfire defense to as many homes as possible, as well as community education, resources to find others in your neighborhood and using proven methods that have successfully stopped fires from raging.
